B&E Engines started in the early 1950's with stock car racing in a 1949 Mercury. At the end of the 1950's into the early 1960's we were racing Offy 110 USAC Midgets. By the middle of the 1960's B&E Engines got into Funny Car racing. We raced a 1966 Comet 427, Mach racing all over the country.

B&E Engines entered Indy Car racing in the early 1990's. B&E was one of the few teams building its own engines. In 1997 B&E achieved its first Indy Racing victory at Phoenix International Raceway. B&E was a powerful racing force all the way to 2001.

In 2010 B&E hired Brett Bergeron as General Manager to head up our new engine machine shop and engine testing facility. Brett's long history from offshore power boat racing to building Craftsman Truck engines for Brenden Gaughan was an excellent match for the company. B&E Engines offers over 55 years of experiance and is now looking forward to even greater accomplishments in the future.
